ampeg B2R 350 watt head in great condition - $300

The Ampeg 8x10 cab sounds great for 4-string basses (not so great with a low B), but you don't EVER want to have to move it! If you've got a permanent gig, go for it, but I lugged one around for only a short while when I was in my 20's. I wouldn't even consider it now.

Ive known people who have the 8x10 and they pretty much stay in one place...its pretty much like hauling a refridgerator around

I use the 8x10 and have loved it but I would'nt take one out if I did'nt have help from my band members. I am thinking about moving to a bi-amp rig for more clarity/separation.

I sold my 1973 SVT cab a couple of years ago on ebay for 960.00 to a guy in Ohio. He drove to VA. to pick it up. He has 3 Svt cabs in 3 different locations so he doesn't have to move them.

Other than the hernia inducing SVT(amp '69-'70's era) I would really steer clear of their newer stuff. It's not that they sound bad, actually quite the bang for the buck especially the SVT 4 Pro, reliability is the issue and why I no longer use their amps and have sold them off.
