Weird Al Yankovic does Jimi, too.  Check it out at about the 1:58 mark.  He also parodies a bunch of other artists too.  Pretty funny stuff if you ask me ....

Don't know if this was mentioned, but Catfish Collins ( Bootsy's brother/ rhythm guitarist) died the other day. RIP.

Yeah man Catfish passed last Friday from Cancer.

Here's an old clip of Phelps Catfish Collins from James Brown...

Catfish worked a film score of Lyle Workman Superbad 2007...

It's hard to see another corner stone of FUNK leave us. It's even harder when Garry Shider just left us last month.

The FUNK must continue to shine.

Peace and Love,

I was playing along to some 70's disco/funk tunes(Marvin Gaye - Got To Give It Up, EWF - September etc) and I remembered this tune from the mid 70's.
Ultra funk..loads of Mu Tron to the max!!!

Well, this isn't funk, in the traditional sense, but here it is, anyways... My band, OTiS...

This first one is a song about a rooster I used to know lovingly referred to as Big Red.

Hope ya dig!
