Furthur Experiments at TRI - LIVE WEBCAST - Tuesday June 7th - 6pm (PDT) Don't know if anyone else checked out the free test flight Bobby conducted a couple weeks ago with members of Ratdog, Steve Kimock and horns the Marin Symphony Orchestra. It was surprisingly good - that is, for a live streaming webcast.
Let me start by saying that I have quite good broadband internet service, so my streaming experience was great - very much like streaming an HD concert video on, say Netflix. I connected my laptop to my HD TV and audio system and connected to the site. Video and audio were stellar - clean and clear. Whatever the engineering is at TRI studios that encodes and streams the internet broadcast is amazing - especially considering it's live.
The Further webcast is $20. If you have a decent TV and stereo that can be connected to your computer, invite a few friends over and give it a try.
