Chicago just experienced the worst power outage, at least for quite some time, with 860,000 customers without power.
My family, (fortunately not my business) lost power at home starting Monday July 11th at 8:30 am and we just got our power restored at 4:15 pm CST this afternoon.
The last time I got to use my Series Custom was Sunday. With closet thing to power was with a generator, which an angel at Home Depot held for us (for one hour only) which its main purpose was to run our saltwater aquarium and refrigerator.
Some folks around here with well water had no means of using any plumbing systems at their homes.... no showers...
Com Ed had workers coming from at least 5 states helping to restore power. Thanks to all the men and women who helped.
