People only tell you the truth when an event like this happens..I guess they see you happy with the person and don't want to spoil it or let you find out for yourself.
Pretty damn hard going at the moment though!

OK here's my back story
Met her on Christmas Eve 1978. Married her March 3rd 1979
We've been together ever since
4 kids, one grandchild and another grandchild due in June

I'll throw mine in ring. Met my wife at my drummers wedding. Lived together for a year and a half and been married for thirty one. I'm still amazed she hasn't kicked me to the curb.

As mentioned in my post 1488 above, been there, Terry. It sucks; hang tough, listen to lots of sad songs, and be open (I certainly wasn't seeking or expecting a life partner when that cute little redhead walked up to my soundboard & asked if she could put her coat on my table, but I went home with her that night & never left).

The Eagles' Wasted Time from the Hotel California album helped get me through a big breakup in college.

Yeah, the guitarist/saxophonist/flautist/keyboardist/harmonicist/vocalist in the band the aforementioned soundboard was in service of took up karate after wife #2 said adios; now he's a master black belt. Says it helps his playing, too
