The Harvest bag is a good one. I have one for my Modulus, but even better is the Glenn Cronkhite bag. It's a step up from any other gig bag I've seen. My Starfire loves it.

I'd love a gig bag for my MK but I can guarantee the two points on the omega would be snapped the first time I used it. hardcase all the way for me.

Try Hiscox Cases UK - I had to have mine adapted for my Orion (internally) but they are tough but hard cases.  I have to agree with the only case is a hard case - sounds as if they are a bit violent and threatening but you know what I mean!  Glynn

I assumed my europa wouldn't fit a standard hiscox case so I contacted them to get a hard case made for my bass but was told they don't do custom cases. How did you get yours adapted.

They took the standard Hiscox case that I got with the bass in 2000 (it has Bass Centre on it) and altered the foam inside.  I went over to Cannock and found them really nice people.  Glynn

Thanks for all the suggestions!

The gig bag isn't for me - I'm not gigging at the moment so don't need a case. It's for a friend who is constantly playing around Dublin and doesn't drive so a gig bag is essential.

At the moment it looks like he'll be going for a leather Harvest bag, they look great.
