Very cool!  And especially nice that you had Courtenay Pollack make them for you.  I imagine that the vibes from those grills will help dial in the Phil tone too.

Very cool. I've always wanted to put on tie dyed fronts, but I keep changing cabs...

Here's my '66 Bandmaster.  I was told the grill has been on since the 60's.

Wow! Do you know who did it or what the material is?

As for who did it, I believe I am owner #3 and owner #1, a friend of owner #2 did the mod.  It appears to be good old 60's paisley tapestry just placed over the stock Fender grill material.

So, two questions for you:

1. How did you get your picture to post so large?

2.  How does it feel to have legal weed?

Very nice Bill!  Now you and Edwin need to do a gig together, and someone needs to take pics of that.

1. I'm not sure. With the posted resolution, it was supposed to be smaller and look better, but somehow it forced itself into an ugly, large, pixilated image.
2. OK, I guess. I'm not big weed smoker and my friends who are didn't really pay attention to the legal aspects. I suppose it will feel different once I see some retail stores in action, but apparently that's being postponed here in Boulder. I will say that I'm a little relieved in a couple of senses by this: a) it will relieve people who had fake prescription cards from pretending to have ailments that required a MMJ prescription. I never liked that. It endangered people who have a legitimate need and b) hopefully it will relieve some overcrowding of the jails, prisons and courtrooms. I'm still not totally comfortable with the federal/state tension, which could blow up if there is a change in Washington resulting in much more aggressive from federal law enforcement.

I'm also interested to see how this will play out in the context of privatized prisons, where there have been apparently agreements with the prisons by certain jurisdictions to supply the prisons with a quota of clients and how legalization will affect those relationships. To my mind, that just points out how horribly wrong privatized, for profit, prisons are. But I am veering wildly off topic here.

I got to use my rig as is for the first time for the last couple of nights and I do think that the grill cloth has affected the sound a little bit. It sounds slightly muffled, not as open and clear. It could be due to that I've installed different drivers. I had 2 16 ohm JBLs, a K140 and a reconed and re-magnetized D140 and now it has two original D140s. I don't think they need reconing, but I bet if I remagnetized them, they'd sound a lot better. But damn, it looks very cool! I am thinking that after it wears out I might go to no grill at all.
