I was just about to post a question asking when / if /why the quote maker was off line.

I haven't been able to access it for a while.

www.alembic.com/quote should be active and ready for use!

I had some errors when I updated the prices. I'm hoping everything is OK. I still get an error when I run my perl scripts that make it tick, but I'm thinking it's just some trash that Microsoft adds to the source file. Anywhoo, let me know if you find anything screwy!

This took a lot of work on Mica's part. When you think about all the options in all the little pull down menus, and about how they all have to be adjusted for each of the different models; it's a lot of detail.

Mica, its great!
But would be perfect, if after selection of all the things (particularly the woods) we can see a picture of the configured bass....ok, I know this will be very difficult...but I like to see a Stanley Clarke Bass with Macassar Ebony top laminate...could be nice?

Ulf, I'm not very good with software, but I would guess that making a good picture of any configured bass would be very hard to do.

You can use the search tool here to find some pictures and then use your imagination from there. I did a search for macassar and found these basses that look fairly close to an SC bass:

I had hoped to have a custom quote generator for 6 string guitars. Is this coming, or are the quotes to be for basses only?
