Maiden Voyage w/ my Alembic and Current Band

Last night my current band had a very cool gig here in Seattle and it was my first with this band using my Alembic.  Most of the other venues we've played I've been a little leery taking my Alembic.  This one just seemed like the right fit.  I have to say, it was a true pleasure playing my Alembic live.  It just felt right.  I was super happy with my stage mix and I received really good feedback on how it sounded out in the audience.  Yeah Alembic!

Yeah, these basses sound great...one of my first gigs with mine I had a bass-playing friend parked in front of my rig declaring you have the best bass tone ever! Alembic Distillate, Acoustic 370, 4x10 & 1x15 cabs and a sansamp bass DI for overdrive; killer combo and I wouldn't change a thing...I've had to play through other amps and it's not the same, but another bass would be unthinkable...
