Well we're a year on and my father has passed away recently.

He loved the bass, was really touched by my gesture and the people who attended the birthday party were also full of praise about my work and how it stood as a tribute to my father.

Now almost a year on we held a remembrance gathering of family and friends and the bass was placed in my dad's former workshop where people kept asking me Did you really make that?

I'm currently in the studio working on my upcoming solo album The return to Blueberry hill and so far the bass has been used on almost all the tracks, including the salute I wrote for my father. An instrumental called The Journey's end

Wouter-
It is wonderful that your father had the opportunity to enjoy an instrument made with love.

When the time is right it would be great if you posted a link to The Journey's End.
