What happened to EBow?

What happened to Lightwave infrared pickups?

What happened to bass Midi?

Were not all these items supposed to revolutionize the industry?

They're all hanging out with the Min'd Pick.

That stuff reminds me of the bicycle industry; every year someone would show up at the big trade show with something that'll change the world...that been done before five years ago and failed...they always ended up in the same area of the show (sideshow?) and they'd always die a slow or fast death depending on their funding and blindness...Ebow is still around though and I saw a show with Peter Frampton using one just yesterday...

I saw 2010 when it came out and forget almost everything about it, I should watch the two movies again...I miss Arthur C Clarke, and Stanley Kubrick...Tony

That's funny Tony,
Because of this thread, last night I ended up watching clips of Hal9000 taunting Dave.
What a smorgasborg for the senses.I'm glad I saw it in the theaters as a kid, I'm going to have to watch it and 2010 again.

I'll admit I prefer the 27 speeds I have now over the old 3 speed schwinn I had in the 70's ;)

I recently saw an episode of Foo Fighters Sonic Highways and one of the guitarists was using an Ebow to perform his part in the song they created for the featured city (New York - ?).

So - the Ebow is alive and well.

BTW: I really enjoyed that entire series. Great concept and really well executed. Highly recommended viewing.
