Love me some go go! I got to see Big Tony and the boys in the mid 80s, but he was playing a P bass instead of the Alembic. They had some 15 year old kid on the timbales who was incredible. I was always amazed that Trouble Funk didn't blow up much bigger than they did. They definitely influenced my playing in a big way.
