I'm not familiar with that band.  Rewatching the Christies video he was sitting next to the bidder.  Anyone know who the bidder was?  Band member?  Manager?  Benefactor?

Gary, that's Derek Trucks, formerly of the Allman Brothers.  His wife is Susan Tedeschi, and that's their band.  In my view, one of the great guitarists, and great touring bands, around today.  Their lineup includes 12 musicians on stage, plus frequent guests.  Their new material is quite good, plus they play lots of older material from the Dead, Allman Brothers, Derek & The Dominoes, Mad Dogs & Englishmen, etc.  Absolutely wonderful band.

Karlijn Langendijk - Sail

I really like her playing, and plan to purchase some of her music today.

Interesting tuning on this tune. Some kind of Drop-C. (I checked...)

I recently repaired a Martin OMC-16e (a cutaway Orchestra Model, with electronics in Style 16) that was tuned CGCGCe using regular medium-gauge strings. Not sure that's what she's doing here but it sounds deep.

Thanks for pointing that out; I totally missed it.  I'll have to watch it again.

She has a store on her website, and included therein are scores and tabs of her compositions.  The score for this song indicates that the low E is dropped to C, and that the A is dropped to G; the other strings are apparently unchanged.

Can't find it now, but someone elsewhere posted a pic of Derek doing a Townshend with Tiger on his amp; amp was damaged, Tiger was in pieces.
I'm assuming it's AI BS.......

We had the first album (and by "we", I mean my friends and I at the time).  I don't recall any of the songs other than White Bird
Here ya go:

I had known that the cover was painted off a 1912 pic by Charles Courtney Curran, but I just found out that the cover was designed Global Propaganda - which is another way of saying George Hunter of the Charlatans.  He did the cover for QMS's Happy Trails, too.

Furthur at TRI; I haven't been to bed, so it still counts as a "Happy Birthday for Phil!

First line of the first verse of Hot Summer Day and "oh yeah, I remember that".  Nice tune.
