All Alembic CD Just Released
« on: November 07, 2008, 10:45:55 AM »
Sorry I haven?t been around much to post. I?ve been spending a lot of time writing and recording my first solo CD. Seems like there are never enough hours in the day to get everything done.

I?ve just released my first solo CD titled Heavy Dues. I played all bass parts using only my Alembics. I would like to get some feed back from club members on my music. I have lots of sound clips on my site http://jbmcd.com

I hope you enjoy my music.

Take care and have fun

P.S. Mica, let me know if you or your parents recognize or remember building any of my basses from the 70?s?

Pretty awesome.  Got a good range of Alembic tones.  I dig that trebly tone in the 2nd tune.  And you definitely got the super fast Stanley technique.

First of all, congratulations for your recovery and I'm glad that you could have your chops back (you have some really nice stuff on your CD).

But if you really want to hear some critics, I just have a matter of taste... Although I really liked all your Bass tones, I don't like some typical fusion keyboard tones you used. They were so used in the 80's that makes some songs feel old.

Not just a bass, this is an Alembic!
