IT HAS ARRIVED....
What an incredible instrument in every way....
She plays like a dream and is really like brand new..There isn't a mark anywhere...Looks like it was shipped directly from the factory...
It had the original strings still on her and the guy I got it from didnt play it more than 2 hours total and it's 16 month life......
It is my first Alembic so I need to spend some time with the filters they are a trip and completely different than anything I have ever owned..

25 burgers will take care of the food input.... output might be an issue =)

Congratulations on the bass- it took me awhile to get used to the filters too- my recommendation is to turn the Q's on when you're learning.  Having them on made it easier for me to hear the slight changes that resulted from tiny turns of the filter.  I rarely play w/ my Q's on now, but I usually use them to help me find the tone range I'm looking for.

Have fun!

Thanks guys I am having a blast and cant wait to get into the studio to lay down some tracks..
I put a new set of DR high beams on 45-125 and basically finished the setup..Only thing I wish she had was independent adjustable bridge saddles to fine tune string to string heights....
Has Alembic even done this or will they??
