You don't have to keep responding to posts if you don't want to be on here, I'm pretty sure that eventually the account will become inactive.  As for spoiler price, in my personal opinion, all the used alembics deserve a much higher price than what they go for on the used market because they are such works of art.  I saw a spoiler on here go for about 2000 with signature electronics, so stock would be significantly less, at least on the board.  12-1600 i'd say

Dave,
I don't know how you do it man...  at times it's more like being a mediator than a moderator.  Thank you for the great efforts that you put forth here at our forum!  Thank you Alembic for providing it!

Most likely a moot point anyway since Rob has already deleted his account but I found it a bit awkward when Rob (bikeplate) was asked to accept apologies.  Not that it wasn't a nice thing to do but I wonder why people are apologizing for Bob (bsee)?  Wherever you go Rob, Play it Healthy!

POST SCRIPT.......

Rob (bikeplate) sold his zebrawood Spoiler for $2,000.  I felt the need to share that info since I was the one who recommend that he post the ad here and I was the one who recommended a price range of $1,800 - 2,200.  Didn't know it would cause such a ruckus.

Peace,

James, That's pretty amazing.  I saw the eBay auction run 7 days with a $1750 starting bid come to an end on Saturday with no bids placed, so I wonder that someone in the market and willing to pay $2K didn't grab it for less there.

Do you know if it was sold to a US buyer?  $2K would be a very fair price, if not a bargain, to a European buyer.

Well, let's just hope the purchaser knew the market and made a conscious decision to pay a premium for the condition and wood.
