Dave, as usual the wisest words to live by both within the club and as part of our lives.  At least this is dealing with a musical instrument, and it is not a physical life and death matter.  The emotional reaction may cause it to be that way, but all of us can use a big shot of reality check once in a while.  We humans must learn how to catch up with technology and realize effective communication should be refiined, praticed and not taken for granted.  To all members, I learn so much from you and your prespectives, throughout the world and I thank you and appreciate your efforts.  BTW, love that cartoon!  From the Simpsons right?

Back when I was looking for a series one to buy I read several posts on this site where people put their series bass up for sale only to change their mind before I could buy it. That was annoying beyond belief but I kept looking and I finally found exactly what I wanted and at the right price.  
 
Hang in there, it will happen.

Thanks to a friend (Sonicus) in this club, I was able to find my Series one for a good price last May. They come up fairly often. You just have to wait it out.

pasewark ___(Donald),   I am pleased that one worked out for you , she's a beauty !   They show up used for a good price in this current economy more often then less. In October 2010 I found my Series I  as well ,  locally listed  (for a good price) and I really love it !
