1977 Series I for sale
« Reply #15 on: July 31, 2006, 12:54:10 PM »
I am the one who purchased Tims's series I. I'm on the edge of my seat waiting for UPS to deliver it. I checked the other bids on Ebay, turns out I out bid the highest bidder by $2.99. So much for not being able to buy much for $2.99 these daze :-)

I'm really looking forward to playing a short scale (never played one before). Currently I'm playing a series I medium scale and it's pretty comfy to play. I've played long scale basses and they are not all that comfortable for me so hopefully a short scale will be very comfortable to play.

Thanks Tim :-)

I was at home and kept refreshing the Ebay screen to see where it would sell. I really flipped in my head about this one as I've always wished to have a small body Series 1 bass but realized I need to invest more into my home recording studio. I remember a time when I didn't think about what I NEED to do.

I also remember a time when every bit of music gear I owned could fit into the back of a Toyota pickup truck.

Congratulations to both seller and buyer. I sure am glad that bass isn't out there anymore for the temptation was painful.

Good catch, Brian.

I look forward to hearing a report on the Exploiter when it arrives, Tim.
