It sounds as great as it looks. It has a lightning fast neck. I have to go now and get more acquainted. Thanks again Mike. You really took great care of this fine instrument.

Many thanks to Bill for stepping up to the plate and keeping 10025 IN THE CLUB . This Elan was my #1 bass since I pulled the trigger here back in 2004. As I was polishing hardware, oiling the fingerboard and changing strings I realized that I logged in over 250 gigs (+countless practices) with this bass, yet it looks exactly like it did when I first tore away the packaging and opened the case.

When Greg Locke sold me a Series fretless last year, I decided that I had no need for two fretless Alembics in the stable. It has been stated here previously, but again.... we are only custodians of these fine instruments for so long..... In the scheme of things it really isn't that long at all.....
