Trade 4 string Fretless Series 1 for 5 string Alembic
« on: November 18, 2014, 03:21:44 PM »
Hello Folks,

I am considering trading my Series 1 small standard 34 scale 1975 fretless S/No 75251S

I am looking for a 5 string fretless. Alembic only.
Any electronics package and body style considered.
Ideally I would love a medium scale 5 string Stanley Clark fretless.

Included in the package is;
Power Supply
Multi-core Cable
DS5 R (modified with on/off switch at the front)
Road Case
Hipshot De-tuner plus original Tuner
Sold Brass bird tailpiece as well as original wood/brass laminate tailpiece.
Hand cut solid sterling silver logo and brass logo (brass one currently on the bass)
Top : Schedua
core: walnut
back: Myrtle
neck: maple/walnut
fingerbard: rosewood
old-style channel bridge
no 1/4 inch jack
selector switch placed by 5 pin jack
The bass does not have battery option.

This bass is by not in mint condition but has some checking of the finish and dark colouring to the maple of an almost 40 year old bass.

This bass is one of only 2 fretless small standard 34 scale basses. There are only 8 in total 34 small standard basses that have ever been built.
The other 6 are fretted.
Yes it does suffer from neck dive but a wide strap resolves that issue.
