This guitar does not come up on my list of Alembic when I go into ebay...I can only access it directly from Jeff's link.....(?)...yes, it does, Never mind>>
 
Anyway, what model did y'all decide this one is?

Personally, I think it is an Orion guitar with an Essence body and made to appear as a neck through.

It is a set neck guitar, but not an Orion. It's a custom guitar.  
The electronics are Europa-style, the plates are from the essence model, like the body.
 
A custom does not have to fit in any particular instrument category, since it usually has elements  taken from several different instruments so my advice is just take it as a custom and appreciate it for what it is.

Yeah, thanks!  Outside of the semantics, I think I read it correctly.  I think I would prefer the Skylark electronics package, but may still take a shot at this one.

I emailed the seller and asked him a few routine questions and he said he bought the guitar new in 2001. I asked him what kind of guitar it is and his answer was, It is a custom Europa style and he said it is One of a kind. He emailed me right back, which is a good sign. Looks like a very nice guitar.
