I use an X2 for live performances myself, no issues at all. Having said that they are not the only digital wireless product out there. Most of the standard wireless product manufacturers are developing digital products, partly motivated by the audio quality, the changes in available broadcast bandwidths etc.
If you look for one, check the latency specs. the X2 is something like a 2 ms., not enough to disturb eeryone but the most discerning of ears.
