Hey Guys
Not sure how legit this guy is but he seems to be willing to say anything or do anything. This bass was orignally on Craigslist for $2700. I tried to contact him with no response then by chance he saw a picture of my Koa Series I and contacted me by trying to feel me out on a sales price. He stated, Rory if you have to sell it what will the Koa go for ?? or should I ask if you don't mind How much are you paid for it. ?? I am looking for use one not sure how much the go for.. please share your thought so I know what price to be paid if I ever found one.... At this point he did not realize I knew who he was and I knew he already owned one supposedly. Also not sure why he did not admit he owned a Series bass and was trying to sell it and what was a good selling price!
There seems to be different thoughts of what is good and what is not in his ad as well. He states in his ad, This gave them some advantages tonally. Plus it allowed some cool options like LED's (light emitting diodes) for position markers. He answers someones question with,No leds, it was an option that came later, they light up the side position makers on the fretboard and usually fail after a few years of use. bad idea if you ask me, it puts wiring inside your neck, and a extra stain on your power supply.more of a gimmick than anything else. Again, I won't say he doesn't have the bass but I think he is willing to say or do anything to sell it. Good luck, buying a Postal Money order and getting it to him in three days if you are the lucky winner!
