Yes, but he lowered the opening bid $800 this time.
I just looked at the seller's feedback and it's really old.
I'd only go for this if you could pick the bass up in person or at least talk to the seller before hand.

Has anyone talked to the seller?  I don't understand why no one has jumped on this.  It doesn't have a power supply, which knocks a few hundred off.  The LED thing can be replaced with a new brass plate.  And the new case should be asked about.  In this thread, Daniel says he going to check it out.

I've contacted Daniel about this one as it has great potential. I mentioned that he could have a master vol. installed either in the old p/up selector position or where it is now and put the selector back in it's original spot. That would be killer!!

I bought it!
Took a risk having not seen it in person or played it, got lucky.  It's in great shape, sounds amazing and plays like a dream.  I ordered a power supply from Bass Central, even including that I still spent a lot less than $3K, like I said, I got lucky!

Only weird thing about it is that it has a black plastic or maybe graphite nut, kind of weird.  It didn't say anything about that in the build record so it must of been done after-market.
