CUSTOM SERIES 2 AT THE LOW END!
« on: January 12, 2008, 03:20:50 AM »
Im moderately surprised that this beautiful custom series 2 has lingered so long at the Low End bass shop. I think it looks outstanding with its bound headstock! Perhaps the other guys initials on the headstock and the hefty price ($5999) has put a lot of people off! A real nice Distillate also features in the used section at a more reasonable price ($2599) Both are listed in the used section at www.thelowendbassshop.com

I recently spoke with Brian at Lowend about this Alembic SII, he was trying to get the LED's working. Whomever buys this should make sure make sure the LED's are working or are buying it at a reduced price as a LED repair/replacement involves removal of the fretboard and is very costly.

It was on Ebay a while ago for even less, as I recell. Between the LED issue and the custom initials, it seems a little overpriced to me... Unless your name George Bush.
