I have a stack of Pre- Hardtruckers ALEMBIC cabs. 4 /15's    1/18
and 2/12 singles   I am about to have the JBL D-140's in 3 of the 15's  reconed .  The 18 has a GAUSS in good shape and the  2/12 singles have  GAUSS drivers in good shape. The 2/ 12's singles with GAUSS drivers  live  hooked up  permanently as sub woofers in my BI-AMPED playback  system.The  18 inch GAUSS  in the ALEMBIC CAB is a TOTAL BEAST weight and sound wise !  it can move enough air to part your hair if you stand in front of it .

Yes, I will post as soon as I  get some cleaning up done in the studio. I had have stuff stacked up all over the place while  reorganizing. PIcs with Alembic Bass's and speakers and other swell gear will come  soon ____ including vintage recording gear!  etc ... ...With in a week. I know it s not fair to tease and not show .  I will make good on my  promise.

I have had some of these cabs since the mid 1970.s so some of them show some  ware and tear from being transported around  to gigs so I am going to refurbish the ones needing it the most. There were 2  15 's that I have  had the longest  that I will sand  down and patch a bit with wood bondo and then stain and oil finish. In the end I hope to be able to set up a BEAST SYSTEM with;
1 /18   ,  2/15's  in Alembic cabs and 4 /10 EV/MESA cab  powered  by my 2 Yamaha p-2200 power amps fed from an  ALEMBIC F2B and SF-2 & 2 Furman PQ3's with a Symetrix 525  compressor limiter and perhaps either my DBX 223 active cross over or the Crown VFX2A. Still only approximately 1,000  Watts RMS  but they are clean cool unstrained Watts. I don't have my F2B or SF-2  yet but Mica  told me that the F2B's  will be available soon . I have all the other stuff from other rigs that I have used in the past. It will be fun to experience this rig when all set up . YES _ I am a gear head GEEK !  LOL_LOL_LOL_LOL__   I am making up for having kept it simple for a while. I can RAGE on this rig !!! Just an OLD guy having fun __________again .
