hello, i have a question about serie 2 bass, to avoid draining the batteries i must remove the jack or i can leave my bass pluged all the time without problem ?

You are draining the battery when it's plugged in on ANY of the Alembic electronic packages.  Also be aware that the the battery life for Series electronics is only a few hours.  That's why most folks use the external DS5.

Correct... you don't need the battery at all if you use the DS5.  Did you post some pics of your bass???

So you're the guy that got it!!!  Are you going to address any of the cosmetic issues or just play it (personally, I'd just leave it alone and play it)???

yes i play it now and it's great, i'm from france and i'm not really able to send to alembic for cosmetic issues (need some refinish)
i have a MK signature too and i can say this serie 2 sound better for me.
