i live in staten island, ny and my band just started playing in a xxxxhole in brooklyn.  all the 'patrons' come up to me to ask what kind of bass are you playing. when  i tell them it's an  alembic epic the general reaction is that 'xxxxxxx' bass is awsome. no suprise to me.  i guess they are used to hearing fenders.

Hello Locutus of Borg. It's great to find another Alembic playing Trekkie! I too happen to be born and raised in N.Y.C. although I live out west these days.I just wanted to say it sure is gratifiying when someone acknowleges your Alembic's tone isn't it. Makes you feel like there's actually hope for this world!
