Pickled BEATS breaks in a new (to us) club:

Friday, January 14, 2005 ? Satisfied Frog
29W102 Butterfield Road, Warrenville, IL  (630) 393-2300
(between Naperville Rd. and Route 59, on the north side of Butterfield)
I'll be using both Epics again.

Hope to see friends and family out there!

Playing tomorrow night! Our drummer is having twins within the next month, so this will be our last Pickled BEATS show until mid Spring or later

Go Andrew!
Hi Hollis and thanks! Your CD is on the way.

Okay, a Pickled BEATS update from Chicagoland: Our drummer Andy and his wife Laura just had twins on Tuesday early AM (when else). Mom and Matthew and Allison are doing well. Andy is beside himself (well ... and beside his family) and proud as can be. So PB will be on performing hiatus for awhile.

However, Gary B and I are part of Noah Gabriel's backup band with Tim Polite on drums. We're playing at River Lane in Geneva, IL this Saturday starting around 9 PM. Noah's album for Hidden Track Records is just out and we'll be doing the whole CD plus some new tracks as well.

The Noah Gabriel Band (Noah, Gary Belniak, Tim Polite, and me) is playing tomorrow, Sat. Feb.5 at One East Wilson in Batavia, IL.
We start about 9 pm, and there's no cover. Again we'll be doing Noahs new CD from Hidden Track Records, In Aurora plus 3 brand new tracks and a few covers.

Please disregard the post immediatly above. For those of us with holiday acuity and a verbose sense of the ridiculous, this would be referred to as a screw-up. I'll repost during the correct month and maybe someone will care.

Noah Gabriel will be performing at River Lane Pub in Geneva IL on Saturday, March 5 at 9:00 p.m. The Noah Gabriel Band includes Tim Politte on drums, Gary Belniak on guitar, and Michael Addyman on fretless Alembic bass. Noah and the band will be featuring selections from the recently released album In Aurora and also will be playing new songs that are slated for the next album. Copies of In Aurora will be available at  the show.

River Lane Pub is located in Geneva on River Lane just west of the Fox River and north off Route 38, and features good food and appetizers. This is an intimate club that will fill up quickly and the good seating is usually there for those who get there a little early!

Here's yet another revision!
The River Lane gig mentioned one post up is on Friday, March 4th ... not Sat. March 5th.
(At least we didn't show up a day late for the gig and face an angry pub owner)

The Noah Gabriel Band will be playing at One East Wilson in Batavia, Illinois this Thursday night for St. Patricks Day. I'll be playing my fretless Epic again thru an F1-X into a QSC RMX-1450 into an Acme Low B-2.

Hey Mike,

Hope all is well.  What time are you guys starting?  I just might end up there.  It would be interesting to see this line-up, as opposed to the Pickled Beats.  If I don't make it tonight, take it easy and hopefully I will see a show soon.

Later,

Kevin

Hi Kev,
One East Wilson is literally on the east bank of the Fox River in Batavia. We start around 9 pm. Typically at Noah's shows, the first set is acooustic with Noah (and Gary on a few tunes), then the whole band is on at about 10 pm for two sets. It'll be good to see you again.
How's the FIRST Series 2 Bal K playing for you?
Hope to see you soon.

Not a Pickled BEATS gig but .....
I am going to be the house bassist at an Open Stage nite at Doug's American Bar & Grill on Indian Trail Road in Aurora this Wednesday night. I'll be using my Distillate through my Ampeg B-2R into an Acme Low B-2. We start around 9 pm with three tunes by the house band, then it's open stage time. (Roger, why don't you come up and show off your Skylark?) It's the same crew as used to do the Rudy's jam from a couple or three years ago.

Coming up, The Noah Gabriel Band will be playing at Chord On Blues in St. Charles on Friday May 6th. More Info to follow.
 ...playing again...

As promised, The Noah Gabriel Band (including Gary Belniak and me from Pickled BEATS) will be playing  at Chord On Blues in St. Charles this Friday, May 6th. We start at 10 PM. There is a $5 cover I'll be playing my fretless Epic through the house Trace Elliot system.
