This might have been one of the worst gigs we've ever played. We're no pros, but usually things come together when we're playing in front of people. It was my
Essence 6's first outing, and that part went very well - except for the solo that I botched - not the bass's fault, adrenaline and lack of preparation . . .
Sound files here . . . (ugh) For the record, I did not record these, and I didn't post them either. I am posting this here for altruistic reasons - anyone who wants to feel good about their own band can give a listen (!)
At the end of the day, the important stuff happened - music was created that would not have happened otherwise (there were 7 other bands), and it was played for free on a
beautiful beach.
