Adam, I completely understand. She's a great bass, and I've got these super light strings on her now that make for a very different, groovy playing experience.
Actually, this is the first chance I've had to really play with my new setup - I've got an old F2B, running through a Mackie FR1400 stereo amp that dumps about 300 watts a side into a pair of Eden D210XST (the low frequency versions good down to 30 hz). I set the cabinets on opposite sides of the stage, angled in, and the stereo sound and output is absolutely freaking amazing! Really demonstrates the fidelity of Series instruments.
(and I can go mono into 4 ohms with the same rig and get 1400 watts into the cabinets in parallel with the MK5 Signature - also sounds like a dream come true).
Adam, back to your request, if you'll just drop that 89 SII in the mail, I'll pack up the S1 in the same box and get it right back out to you and we can call it even
