funny story on that gibson purchase too, the guitar was in its original case. I had to call a frined to bring me the forty dollars, he drove to newark and dropped off the money then left, i purchased the guitar and placed it back in the case and got ready to leave. the owner stopped me and said the case was 10 dollars. I didnt even have the ten bucks so i offered my 300 dollar car stereo for pawn, he didnt want it, I came back the next day to purchase the case, he said he had sold it. Never could figure that out.
But in looking at it all sometimes those cases can be as valuble or more then the guitars I have heard. BTW all my instruments have been bought from pawnshops. All of them way below their actual value. would like to see your melody maker nice boss you have there.
