New York/Long Island checking in....
« on: January 27, 2011, 11:16:32 AM »
Hi everyone!

I'm new to the forum and I'd like to introduce myself.  I'm Paul Ranieri, a pro bassist who lives in the NYC/Queens area and I've been an Alembic devotee since I can remember.  As a matter of fact I'm one of the only pro's who regularly use Alembics in my whole area!  I currently own 2 at the moment but are always on the lookout for new ones (or should I say new-used ones!)

Here's my site so everyone can check me and my basses out...

I look forward to talking and meeting up with you guys.

Alembic forever!

P.

Hi again Paul (spoke with you on your Gatherings thread).  Took a listen at your site, some nice projects you've been involved with.  Nice bass collection and what a cool pedal board!  Best, Art

Thanks for the warm welcome everyone!

And if you'd like to see and hear my latest project, my band's name is Dangered Ace and we have a new CD out which I recorded all with my Alembics.  So if your curious about hearing an Alembic in a genre I've created called Hard Swing please check out the listen page on the site.

Thanks again!

Paul, Nice!  The bass work sounds great, all the players are right on.  Bringing back some good ole Rock n Roll!  Good luck with the new project. Art
