I was totally stoked when I found out this MK Deluxe bass at www.superbass.net was ordered with a 32 scale. That was my last excuse for not owning one. I play a pair of 83'Exploiters Nightly for a living but have always wanted to get a  Mark King Deluxe in mint condition just to keep at home and to make an occasional appearence in the studio with it for a different sound.

Congratulations Clay,

looks like a really gorgeous coco bolo top, bet  you're gonna have a a ball with it. Funny how you ended up buying it; I can see the danger of scouting for basses for other people, you end up wanting them yourself

Yes Valentino, It can be very tempting scouting for others. I must have been a rich man in a previous life because I am most attracted to basses that I cant afford.... and then when I least expected it, a great deal like this one came along and I could not pass it up. These basses can be very tempting and I need to be careful of this considering my limited resources. Oh Well, The bass is a beauty and I am very happy with it. This one should keep me occupied for a while.
Thanks,
Clay

That's okay, Clay, I mean, I wasn't going to buy that MK at all. :-)
