Hey John, good to see you on the club.
 
That bass returned to the mothership last year, when the gentleman who bought it from John decided to visit us; it needed a little TLC to take care of one nasty headstock chip, but it's looking great now.

  great seeing you at Mica's Wedding!! How did you like that Flowergirl?
  Are you sure that was my old bass?I refinished mine in purple before I sold it!

the Flowergirl was just too cute for words; sorry we didn't get to hang out  more.
 
As to the bass...Susan & Mica both said :That's John 's bass. the moment they saw it, and, as I recall, you told me it was yours as well.    Plus I am familiar with what passes for your sense of humor...purple, yeah, right.

Hi Valentino,
  I REALLY did refinish it in a candy purple!!! It had gotten stolen at NAMM one year,and I got it back,but it was pretty macked-up,so a few years later a friend of mine refinished it for me! I really wish I still had it,it was a KILLER bass and believe it or not,looked great in purple!
