The One, the Only, Monte
« on: August 28, 2016, 10:50:21 PM »
This bass needs little introduction.  It is invisible in a dark room or on a dark stage.  It is a bass you must hold to really appreciate it.  Once you pick it up, you instantly feel what a quality bass it is.  I believe it truly is one of the best basses Alembic has made to date.  Nuff yak, lots of pictures.  Too many probably.  I cannot take pictures well anymore, so I just do a large amount and what ya see is what ya get.  This is not my bass.  Just a visitor in my home waiting to go back east to its owner.

Yes, I should have wiped the bass down again before pictures.  Chico is a dusty city.  Also, any thing that looks like a flaw in the ebony is just sweat.  Old man in the hot CA sun!

Last batch.  If you add an SF-2 with this bass, it is equivalent to any SII around in both beauty, playability and sound.  It is a 32" scale and plays just wonderfully, even for me.  Amazing bass.  It even has Hipshot Ultralight machines.  I definitely like them best.
