Howierd's Series I 77 479
« on: June 05, 2005, 01:23:35 PM »
I'll try again. This is my Series I 77649 I bought used in 1980.

These are not the greatest pics but it's the best I could do at this time.

Very nice, Howierd. Is your Series 1 flame walnut, or perhaps Koa? (I love walnut!)
Also congrats on your album collection. Everyone appears safely stored

Hey guys,Actually the pics were too large and I had a hard time figuring that out. I've always considered it to be walnut but I don't have a build record. I requested one on the registar page.  Yeah I still listen to LPS. I have about 4000 33's and 78's. Nothing beats a good clean crisp record. If you noticed the emblem on the headstock it's pearl inlay done in the early 80's by a fellow named Joe Latham who used to do all my repair and tune ups. The sterling emblem was loose and hw and I decided to take it off and I had a small silver loop on put on by a jewler and i can wear my Alembic around my neck every day.
