Some wild grain patterns and contrast:
This one has some dark areas and some lighter areas:
Mostly light with neat wavy grain lines (that's not flame, it's an artifact of the bandsaw):
Dark all over with less contrast:

Well guess what, I made a mistake, Steve! The wood selections I offered to you originally are too narrow for a bookmatch to center. Kris got your neck made, the body made and when it came time to put the top on last week, it was too small Here's a really nice set I hope you like:
