I'm just starting to consider designing a custom bass and need some information. I am trying to distinguish the differences in sound range between Signature and Europa electronics. I am also curious what the substitution of Anniversary electronics into a King Signature involves.
A couple of sounds I'd love to produce (in addition to the normal Alembic ranges) would be broad, clean lows like John McVie and the resonant, woody highs Phil Lesh used to get from his Ser 1 and prior Alembic modifications.
Can anyone help?
