I was dreaming, then I woke up
« on: May 11, 2007, 04:40:56 AM »
After plying Mrs J with a couple of G&Ts and complimenting her on her dress sense, I finally got the go-ahead to order up a new bass. i've been looking at Beaver Felton's stock of MK5 deluxes and enquired about the coco-bolo deluxe he has listed. Unfortunately, it's been sold;-( However, he told me about one due to be finished in a week or 2 so I've taken the plunge...

Can't wait to see the finished article;-)

Excellent news Graeme, I'm sure you will give it a good seeing to once you get it home. Coco Bola is a great looking wood and you have a nice piece there.

All the best

The bass was shipped yesterday - should reach scotland in a week. Mica sent me this picture...

I'll post some more in the showcase once she arrives.

I'm so excited, and I just can't hide it ;-)

Looks lovely Graeme.  Sounds like it's shaping up to be the slowest week ever. =)
