(x) My second Alembic! (98Q11625)
« on: December 28, 2009, 06:25:04 PM »
Hi. Just bought a Rogue 5 string, serial number 98Q11625 to go with my 93 Epic. Love the Epic, but  I wanted to try a neck-thru.
Hope you can provide some information on my Rogue when you have a minute, such as birth date, woods used, etc. I'm wondering about the scale length. The guy I bought it from said it was 35, but it's unclear to me if that is measured to the front or the back of the bridge.
Thanks!

Welcome Mike,
congrats...the scale length is measured by doubling the distance from the nut to the 12th fret.

Well, I've played a few shows since my original post and I've gotta say this Rogue is the finest bass I've ever owned. Incredible player.

Thanks for the info, Elwood (I did a gig dressed as you this past Halloween!). Looks to be a 34.

And Terrace, you are absolutely correct. That switch is magic.
