Hello all,

I'd like to chime in as yet another proud church-playing Alembic person. I use my Elan 6 every Saturday for an hour long service. I've received nothing by praise (pun indended) from my fellow band mates, first when they see what a beautiful bass it is, and second when they hear the tone. I've found the 6 to indispensable. Of course, the low B comes in handy for making those big choruses stand out, but I frequently use my high C for melodies or playing chords. I can't think of a more appropriate instrument to bring to church!

Hi Dave , I've been playing my alembic 4 str. persuader in church for 9 years and I get nothing but praise for the tone , people thought I was playing a 5 str because of the tone. So now I've been blessed with a M.K. Signature Deluxe 5 str. 36' neck bass and I just got it Tuesday and will minister with it in church for the 1st time this Sunday . I'll get back with some feed back from this Sunday

I've said it before and I'll say it again: when I'll have the luck to come and visit parts of the US I'll  definitely try to visit one of those services with gospel music. Maybe with one of you guys playing along.
