Yes, we love those fancy Swiss collet knobs. Use a large blade screwdriver or a 6mm nut driver once you've got the cap off.

Well I succommed to GAS again while waiting for Alembic #10. I bought the SF2 on EBAY. Yeah, I know. whaddaya mean you didn't have one! No I didn't. Now I will in about a week or so. Preguntas: do I run it in the effects loop of the F1X? Do I order in provisions while I tweek with it? Can a bear use one in the woods with the Pope if they don't have a manual?

I run mine in the effects loop of the F-1X.  Provisions would be a good idea.  If I recall correctly, you should be able to get a manual from Alembic; if not, let us know.  If you want to let some bear and the Pope use your SF-2 in the woods, go ahead; but they can't use mine, it stays with me.

I run mine in the mono configuration which causes it to act as a three channel mixer with a master volume, filter one which I run in low-pass mode, dry signal volume, and filter two which I run in high-pass mode.

Thanks very much! I will run mono. This will be for my home rig and studio. My live set up needs to be simple. tuner, F1X, 3402, Acme or Epi stacks. This will hold me until I save up for a S2 bass! I hope #10 arrives soon. Gigs that require airfare are involved.

I just wired it up after the F1X, mono and then out to the QSC, Boy Howdy! Talk about control! Forget what I said earlier, It IS going in the live rig.
Waiting on #10, gotta fly to Vegas on the 5th. Hope I have it for the festival. BTW my band Doomtree will be interviewed on KNAC on the 9th I believe. Internet radio, you gotta love it!
