I've never tried that. I also use a Lexicon MX unit(MX400), I love it just for the reverb, the other time based FX are pretty nice too.

Not a problem Pierre. Yes it should work just fine. The boost however I would just use on the bridge pickup  before the regular preamp input for solos, but that's just me. Using it in the loop should be fine too.
