The long wait is nearly over...

My 5+ month wait for my custom is nearly complete as today I found out my Alembic dealer recieved my bass.  I'm shocked because when I called back in March it wasn't even started and we had to correct the electronics that were on the order.  I have a gig on the 24th that I can't wait to bust it out on...  It's a set neck Balance K Point with Europa electronics and AXY pickups -- the first of its kind.  I will post pictures after I actually recieve it.  I thought it was two months out still...

Well , you're a lucky guy ! if everything goes well , i should have mine in july...ordered placed in december...I'm actually waiting for a FTC thread . Val told me some pics would be on the site this week or the other...i agree with you , it's a long way but it will be a so nice time when you'll have it ; btw , mine is also a mk new balanced k series 2 electronics with front and side red led's , quilted maple 5 a with wineburst finish , and 3 purpleheart laminates...and a dimmer , i forgot !

Congratulations on the imminent end of your wait:  I'm sure it'll've been worth it.  I am still waiting patiently  for my birdseye maple Further.
