Well done. The off-angle POVs and stark backgrounds bring me right in to the wood and features, nice touch. Also, I appreciate the fact that the pages are clean, crisp and easy on the eye.

Have you seen bunnybass.com?

Thanks Michael. Just checked out bunny.bass - nice. Unfortunately the e-commerce platform that we're using doesn't suport click to enlarge.

bunnybass is probaby one of the best in promoting a bass' particular features. They shoot on black as opposed to the white and light grey backgrounds you use, same effect -different end of the chroma scale. My refference to bunnybass was just that you've adopted a similar, effective presentation scheme, it's a winner. You're selling high dollar items, it should look like you place same value on them as you expect your customers to. Anyone can, and they frequently do, post mug shots and then beat you to death with hard to read or meaningless text. Dull, dull, dull.
Not kidding though, clutter and an aimless imagination will ruin any attempt to convey your message. Just because you can, doesn't mean you should. Enough of the soapbox - sometimes it's hard to leave work behind.

The way they shoot against black looks nice. As you can tell, I sometimes photoshop the background to white or black for effect. Shooting against a blue or green background would probably make this easier - but sometimes its nice to leave the background in for the natural shadow.

EffClef; in case you may have forgotten, and/or for the benefit of others, here is more on the Black Rogue.

Just received the Guitarist Australia (April/May 2005) magazine in the mail, David. Seems that the Black Rogue was well received:

Yes, my favourite quote:

...the low pass filter and Q switch system was capable of delivering the most hellish bottom end sound I've ever heard...think big, deep and fat as a sand dune but still maintaining all the integrity and precision of a snowflake..

BTW, they are reviewing the Tribute in the next edition.
