Thank you so much for the estimates and all the extra information somebody like me would not know! That helps a lot!

Chris, I appreciate your time and effort to find the spec sheet and original pricing.

I attached a few more photos which were taken today. The bass has been in storage for the last 11 years or so.

The back!  Gasp, that is beautiful.   
As mentioned an Alembic is worth what a buyer is willing to pay.   
Not having a filter(s) could be a downside, but the beautiful construction is certainly a plus!


Anne, have you (or other family) considered playing bass?

I have thought about playing! Unfortunately, I have  T-Rex arms and hands - a ukulele probably would be more appropriate.

My brother considered the lower end electronics a feature (I didn't think to ask him why).
