I'm with Dave on this one... not a clue what you're doing, but totally on-board with the goal and the DIY mentality.  8)

Thought about you this morning... may have mentioned a while back, the local State University uses "Enter Sandman" as their big entrance for home games. It turned into a big thing over the last decade or so. Anyway, Metallica added a concert to the tour; at Lane Stadium in Blacksburg, Virginia tonight. I expect it'll be a sellout madhouse up there... the crew has been on-site for a few days setting up. https://hokiesports.com/news/2025/05/7/virginia-tech-lane-stadium-metallica-setting-the-stage-photo-gallery

Here's what it looks/sounds like when they kick off a ball game up there;

Thanx! And cool!
I think I'm going to do a YouTube video of the Enter Sandman Live version This weekend :-) (with Series II and complete rig, DI and sm57)
I'm starting to get lost in the details also :-) It's getting extremely complicated, some patches use three different midi program changes over three different midi channels at the same time...  ::)

Weird things happened :-)
In hindsight, the tuner out was not a good idea... I guess because it is parallel to the input, it can also act as an input (without the 10-22K resistor)
My tuner is on a pedalboard, the cable to my pedalboard is 10 Meters (+/ 32 ft) long. So I guess all that length can pickup noise and affect the tone.
I got a loud pop when I turned on the tuner and the cable made loud noises when removed. (same noise like when you unplug a guitar)
So now I use the tuner out from the G-lab MGC-6, it is isolated and works great. (tuner is still always on)
I also removed the Lehle from the DS-5R... I think there were some grounding issues and it's easier to experiment with the ground lift knobs this way.
So the Power supply mod is down to the 3 way mixer, happy to report that works great. :-)
I am going to redo it though, I got a PCB and a load of resistors and will make the same but a bit more rugged.
I think the resistor in line with the lead can be a bit fragile in this setup, both legs of the resistor in a PCB might be a better idea.

I also redid the pedal board cable. :-)
It consist of four 10 Meter two conductor + shielding cables, Wah Send, Wah return, Tuner and Midi. (Midi program change only uses 3 wires)
I made this by wrapping all wires in many tie wraps and lots of duct tape, somehow I had 5 cables in there... (might have foreseen an expansion that never happend?)
So I took it apart and made a new one with a much neater cable sleave, looks a lot better and is many times easier on the hands now.
You can see the old cable in the pedalboard pic and in the second pic of Reply #5.

Pics of the new situation, Pcb and a pic of the Lehle under the MGC-6.

Rig rundown! Extremely amateurish, but I got some (too many) requests :-)

Will report back when the new "mixer" is done.

I got some Palmer Isolation boxes for dirt cheap and was hoping to build a splitter with the transformers, plan was to have three transformer isolated outputs.
The transformers are good quality audio wise, but they don't have the extra shielding like the ones on the Lehle.
It did work, but there was some hum induced from the transformer that is in the power supply. In the second attempt, I almost got rid of the hum. I made a new board for the transformers and repositioned them (they had to be mounted vertically) tucked all away in the corner.
Also created a crude shield, positioned next to the Alembic transformer. But there was still some faint background hum when I turned the power supply on... (listening with headphones and input gain cranked up)
Then I started thinking of the units above and below the DS-5R... Samson Powerbrite, with a huge transformer right above the input section of the DS-5R. Ibanez HD1500 with it's own power supply under it... (did not bother to look where the transformer was located, but could also be problematic)

So for now I decided to ditch the idea, keeping the external Lehle solution.
I made a new "mixer" board and tidied/closed things up for now.

Now I will concentrate on the pedalboard connection, see if I can find a good use for the Palmers.
I suspect I can use the transformers (I have 8 to play with) to create Isolated and balanced connections for the 10 meter cable, more things to do and learn. :-)
Btw, the Isolation boxes are marked as Senso Audio , but are almost Identical to these: https://www.palmer-germany.com/en/products/line-isolators/5185/li-05
They use the same transformers and are obviously made by Palmer. (Palmer tm is on the board)
These boxes can easily be modified with 1/4 inch Jacks, already did one. :-)
