Jammin', etc.
« on: December 29, 2024, 07:18:22 PM »
May 1985.  #3 Son David just got his 3rd b-day gift a few days before, and decided to join Daddy on the deck, wearing hats & playing "contar".

Fast forward 36 years & change to last week.  I'm on the same guitar, but he's upgraded a bit.  And (despite being primarily the sort who sits in back and beats on animal skins with sticks) he has been far better than me for about years now.

Alas, his mother messed up the shot of his 9-y-o nephew Kane sitting in on his brand-new clarinet; a version of "Knockin' On Heaven's Door"  the likes of which you've never heard before, I guarandamntee!

And #2 Son and his apparently-soon-to-be-ex wife gave me a groovy set of salt & pepper shakers.

*This breaks my heart, as I habe adored this girl since she was a scared 18-y-o come to Meet His Parents, 24 years ago.  Bummer.
