Accessorizing a Stanley Clarke Brown Bass
« on: June 27, 2024, 07:09:55 AM »
Since I believe these basses to be the most attractive ever made, I dressed up with these brown boots and 1975 Reunion Blues gig bag to complete the effect!  First time I've ever felt like an accessory to a bass : )      Played it out last night and it sounded amazing.  Love the Q control switches!  Looking to add a correct set of ultra-lite tuners that don't require any drilling and wonder if the Gotoh GB350 res-o-lite tuners are the correct ones.  If anyone knows whether these are an exact fit, please let me know.  Can't find the correct hip shot model online but would prefer the Gotohs which are even lighter at just 4 ounces for the set of 4.

Just a note to say that I received confirmation from members of the Alembic Fans on Facebook who directed me to Fret Nation and Jason who immediately told me about the HipShot correct replacement tuners and will get me the sets I need.
